If we're looking for tolerance and equality, then why do we have to separate ourselves into different categories?

Exactly! You know there would be hell to pay if a school opened for just straight kids. I want to see a movement in NY for this. Really.

The high school may be a fish tank for homosexuals seeking to "help" young students? Why else would you have such an idea? Placing this high school name on the resume labels you right off. Every employer will know you are a homosexual. This will be advertising what you are. This concept of separating out by homosexuals is stupid. I thought sexual preferences was none of anyone elses business?

I overheard a conversation at a Braves game last week.
One homosexual was complaining about the 39,000 who attended the game, saying that they were prejudiced against homosexuals, and that he felt uncomfortable in the crowd.
His friend responded that he knew exactly what prejudice feels like, because he was singled out in Vegas for dressing differently than others.
This made me think, "if you don't scream to the top of your lungs that you are gay, then how will anyone else know that you are, and be able to treat you poorly?"
After hearing their comments I believe that they single themselves out for being "different", and then complain when they are treated differently.
