science has accepted the fact that continents can move. And I have to confess that I am a pole-shift theory advocate, because all of the evidence points towards something that modern science can't explainWouldn't drifting continents and shifting poles appear similar? IE, the position of the poles with respect to the continents changes.

The astronomical pole would stay the same, if you watched all night, the sky would still revolve around the north star, Polaris. Barring there were no tilts in the obliqueness of the axial tilt of the Earth. But he pole star would change in elevation above the horizon.
