Outlawing Sodomy is not 'unlimited Govt' by any stretch of the imagination.

Our nation universially outlawed sodomy 100 years ago when Government powers were far more limited than today!

I admire and respect those that have come before me, but there ARE necessary changes and enlightenment that comes with time.

For instance, masturbation as a sin(I know this isn't about law, right here)came about as a misinterpretation of the crime of Onan. His sin was not following old Hebrew custom and impregnating his dead brother's wife.

Similarly, Jefferson had some bizarre ideas about homosexuals and while he knew slaves were human, he did view them in a paternally racist fashion.

So, we should take the good and admire the visionaries and throw out the bad. That is the way of things.
