I think there is more to it than that because it doesn't make much sense to continue the court case on a poorly written county law with the State ban looming in July. All they get is a 1½ Months.

I believe they also sued on 5th Admentment grounds, The Eminent Domain clauss on siezing property.

It's hard to tell with this article, Newsday is a piece of S!-!φ newspaper that makes the NY Times seem like a ultra right wing paper.
