The bigger challenge is for parents to get involved with the teachers and admin at the school. Once they do - they will begin to see the general drift of philosophy of the school.

The other thing parents can do is hold a meeting with your childs friends from school - discuss the situation - find out how much support you have and INFORM your school you will not tolerate the gay agenda or the liberal agenda being taught to your child.

I have seen the recruiting process to my neighbors daughter, with my own eyes. Woo'ed by her community college basketball coach her first semester, as her mother and I watched helplessly. No advice or discouragement from us was wanted or heeded, she soon learned the word homophobic and used it often at us. At the age of eighteen she "loved this woman" even without a chance at a hetrosexual relationship!

Of course, when the woman dumped her for a new up and coming star on the court, she was devastated, but, we were sure the damage done. She applied to a college in Kansas, her parents moved away, and the last time I saw her, she and another girl were walking hand in hand in Kmart!!!!!!!

...the only way I believe we can fight the liberal rats, is to educate the parents ourselves.

Sickeningly, this is where we run into the second problem: Reality? Most parents don't care enough to fight. I well remember ten years or twelve years ago when the liberals around here were just starting to try to worm an outcome-based education curriculum into place. We, along with some other concerned parents, tried to organize and fight it. Ran ads in the papers about meetings, etc. Twenty or thirty people showed up at the first meeting. After that, five or six. Very few people care enough to fight anymore. Everyone is so wrapped up in their comfortable little cocoons and they don't want to be disturbed.

Before long, we had schools that didn't check spelling. Didn't assign grades. Forbade the use of red marks on students' papers because that had a negative connotation. The final straw came when my daughter, in the third grade at the time, asked if she could have permission to lie to her teacher. We were naturally surprised by such an unusual question and asked what she was talking about. She said the teacher went around the class each morning asking the kids what they'd had for breakfast. When my daughter answered, it was usually bacon, eggs, toast, things like that. For which she would be told by the teacher how horrible it was to eat things like that, how she needed to start refusing to eat such breakfasts and instead demand fruit and such from her parents. We pulled her out of that school the next day and put her in another one that hadn't yet gone that far, but it was still one liberal idea to battle after another for the next nine years.

Most parents don't care enough to fight!. Everyone is so wrapped up in their comfortable little cocoons and they don't want to be disturbed.....I agree, most of them walk around with blinders until some thing happens with one of their children, I know I did.

Reminds me of what (little) I've read about the Romans - the leaders supplied the sheeple with "bread and circuses" so they would go along with the program. Odd thing, one of the prime entertainments at the circuses was the killing and torture of Christians.

People are so habituated to instant gratification of the body and mind, satellite and cable TV, newer and newer technologies to absorb the mind in the fantasy world of entertainment, vast amounts of pornography just a click away, every kind of legal and illegal drug and so many kinds of alcohol it sometimes takes up half a store - who has time to consider the screaming nosedive of morality in the world, or what the end result will be?

So few people want to think ahead. A citizenry of lust-crazed sensory-overloaded selfish fools gets the government it deserves. And the only government that can control people who can't control themselves is a totalitarian one.
