I quoted statistics indicating that although homosexuals were only 2% of the population, they represented 25% of the pedophiles.
Then my opponent quoted statistics indicating that homosexuals were 33% of the population, therefore if they made up 25% of the pedophiles, homosexuals were underrepresented.
At the end, I lost the debate, because I had a hostile audience who believed that homosexuals were actually 33% of the population.
I’m just saying the above to caution you about playing the game “my dad can beat up your dad” or “my expert statistician can beat up your expert statistician.”
