Boycott: Hit them where it hurts - enrollment.

What we need here is parents, more than one, to cancel their plans to send their children to this school.

Most of these parochial schools only "go for the money". I know this personally. Here in CT, they catered to the state in the hopes of gettitng voucher money. They took Christian text books out of the curiculum in favor of secular text. We now home school for exactly this reason.

As a pro-life cradle Catholic, this action by the Michigan Catholic school is an outrage. And until the Church starts excommunicating these "pro-choice" so called CINO (Catholic In Name Only) politicians I will continue to be outraged!

Granholm is Catholic and says she opposes abortion but supports freedom of choice.

This is rich. OK. Here's my position. I'm opposed to murder, but believe a killer has the freedom to choose whether someone else can live. There. Next question?

How can she get away with this kind of nonsense?

As my Mom would say, in or out, the air conditioner's on.

I'm not Catholic, but I'm so encouraged to see that members and leaders of this great church body are standing up to political thugs like this who can't tell the truth.

"It is unfortunate that a few people have been successful in putting that great institution in a difficult position."

This from a reputedly intelligent woman? "Intelligent" like Hillary!, perhaps? That's not intelligent at all, its just plain stupid. Why is it unfortunate that a reputedly "great institution" should be put in a difficult position? If they're wrong, as they are in this case, they should be put in a difficult position (it's more accurate to say that they put themselves in a difficult position). Maybe they'll think the next time they try something stupid.

A couple of thousand years ago a few people, led by one, put a lot of "great" institutions in difficult positions. Then, as now, people had to choose who they would stand with. A Catholic school, of all institutions, should stand with those who choose life, and oppose those who choose to support wanton slaughter.

This lover of baby killing touts her husband's "large Irish-Catholic family" in her official biography.

http://www.michigan.gov/gov/0,1607,7-168--57920--,00.html

Touting her own religion and that of her husband's family while promoting abortion is soooo wrong.

Of course, an interesting sidenote is that she studied French at Berkeley, which explains much...

But 1975 graduate Rosemarie Denton expressed disappointment and said she will not send her daughter, a seventh-grader, to the school. "Apparently the liberals have taken over, and they can have it," Denton said. "When you say you're a Catholic school, then you should abide by the teachings of the Catholic church."
