Pick the pic in 36. It covers that and more.

"If you explain "it" I might. Did I miss an implied sarcasm or was there something else?"

I find it pointless explaining "it" to those of your mindset. Either one gets it or one doesn't. Perhaps when you suffer real loss from failure to fight this evil, you'll get it. Even I wouldn't wish that misfortune upon the misguided.

They want the freedom to indulge while requiring the taxpayer to pay for the consequences.

Guess who's paying the costs of the WOD today? Hint: not the druggies who are thrown in prison and thereby live completely off taxpayer dollars.

If you want to blow dope or use cocaine recreationally, you should be required to buy and maintain druggie insurance.

And surrender all driving privileges.

And what is my "mindset"?
Either one gets it or one doesn't.
You've given me nothing to get so I guess I never will get your "it".
Perhaps when you suffer real loss from failure to fight this evil, you'll get it.
What evil?
Even I wouldn't wish that misfortune upon the misguided.
How am I misguided?
You're all bluster, buster, from what I can see.

If you want to guzzle booze or shoot shots recreationally, you should be required to buy and maintain alchy insurance.
And surrender all driving privileges.
And surrender all driving privileges.

You two are dense!

Behaving responsibly is the last thing the "legalize dope" crowd wants to do.

But should she go to jail for drinking her liver into rot, snorting coke until her nose rots off, or gambling herself into debt until the Mob takes it out on her thumbs and knees? No. Part of personal freedom is taking responsibility for one's actions.

WOW! Brilliant insight! A paean to freedom! All props to you as you swash buckle through life. You are my hero! You rugged individualist, you!

What do you pray for me? I may not want what you pray for me. Your prayer could be a prayer of harm to me.

And surrender all driving privileges.

Why do you guys get in a huff when someone suggests that ethanol should be treated like other potentially dangerous drugs?

And reserve the witty riposte; just answer the question.

But irresponsible, self-indulgent, scofflaw, destructive children in adult bodies are another story. Are you implying that YB fits that criteria? The government's job is to throw them into the hoosgow for "Timeout" so they don't steal from the rest of us. What did YB steal? Are you barking up the wrong tree?

Steal? She ran her car off the road. She could have killed or seriously injured the innocent that night. Just look at her picture.

I behave responsibly all of the time. Why are you trying to impugn me? Is that all that you have left?

Why do you quote someone of a libertarian bent when you hate libertarians and why do you demand your own free lunch when you know there ain't no such thing as a free lunch?

She could have killed or seriously injured the innocent that night.
You're right, she could've, but she didn't. What is your point?
Just look at her picture.
What about her picture?

First, I need you to give me props for that area of agreement we had about "choice".

Second, I don't think cocaine has any cognition, either. More props.

Third, I know that you understand what I'm trying to say about cocaine having powerful (pharmacological) properties in and of itself. And I understand what you are trying to say in that those properties are "inert" until a person—who has cognition—chooses to release them by ingesting cocaine.

I do believe cognition, informed by science and personal experience, tells me to avoid ingesting cocaine. Since I have no personal experience with dynamite cognition tells me to trust science in avoiding it.

In some aspects I agree. Let's see if I can find that quote...

I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. And I will not let what I cannot do interfere with what I can do. Edward Everett Hale

Backwards. Society shows more tolerance for the burdens alcohol imposes on it than it does for drugs. The whining pseudo-libertarians play the victim card and jealously demand that society owes the same entitlements to drug users.

Sorry. TANSTAAFL

Why?

I'm sure so-called pseudo-libertarians want that, but I'm sure libertarians don't want anyone to have any entitlements.

Again - ...the same entitlements to drug users.

When will you admit ethanol users are drug users? Or is oral sex not sex? LOL - buffoon.
