November 11, 2002 -- Sen. Charles Schumer is proposing new legislation to crack down on Internet butt-heads who sell cigarettes to teens.
The proposal comes after sting operations cut the number of New York shops and bodegas that sell cigarettes to minors, Schumer said yesterday.

Well, lets get the Jenkins Act after all these online auctions first! How about it? It's not going to happen - the Jenkins Act only deals with tobacco sales and purchases. Nothing else.

Someone ought to point out to Chuckie that kids are no longer allowed to play "stickball"...how is it that parents can police that and not kids' internet use?

Isn't it funny that Chuck Schumer is the same politican who voted against requiring a photo ID in order to vote. He's also against parental notification on abortion. Yet he wants to create a whole bureaucracy just to police internet cigarette sales.
I'd say Schumer is the worst senator ever, but his comrade Hillary! is even worse!
