1st Hour
Let the Games begin! The polls are open and already many districts across the country are reporting shenanigans: in Maryland the new electronic voting screens have the word democratic printed across the top against the current election laws, in Florida new voting machines are not counting ballots,Georgia machines appear to be simply registering the wrong votes and in Massachusetts Union workers are improperly influencing voters actually going into the voting booths with people. Will these elections be fair or are votes being stolen? (If you want to see video of the Boston high handed voter intimidation click here.)

I entered booths with my girlfriend and another friend this morning helping them to vote straight Republican on candidates and issues. Neither keep up with politics and both acquiesced to have me with them and even to direct the punch to the right selections. Their deferring to me on their choices or allowing me to assist in operating the machines is not fraud by any definition. The voter in the booth might also have needed physical assistance. No way of knowing that from what we've seen.
Not saying everything was up and up in that booth or at that polling place. Dems are without question committing fraud all across the country right now. The video was dramatic, but I just can't see anything in it indicating something was really up.

Only if they're dead! LOL

Check post 39.

Oh please, I just got back from voting with my Mother. She is with a walker and her hand shakes. I puncher her whole card right in front of the polling people. They saw me come in earlier and vote with my husband. BFD.

I'm very proud, by the way. Had I not dogged them to death, neither would have voted at all ... and neither are registered Republicans. My girlfriend's American Independent and Lisa's a dem. Now I'm going to go out and find derelicts who'll vote as I direct them for cigarettes and dollar bills :)

The whole horse can't vote, just its hind quarters. Brother Teddy has been voting for years in Massachusetts.

Why is it when I go to Howiecarr.org, I get that the domain name is unregistered?
Is there a fix going on???
To: Crusader21stCentury
Yeah...I looked at that, too. Can't make out anything in the black mass. Fiddling w/ contrast doesn't help.
I've worked polls for quite a number of years (badge #61), and it has never been uncommon to see elderly folks being assisted by their adult children or caretakers to the booths; some of them can't see or walk too well.
There are just too many innocent circumstances imaginable for me to surmise this an example of fraud-- without more information.

Horses can't vote, even in Massachusetts (I don't think!) :-))Oh yes they can - A horse is a horse of course of course!!

Is it just me (and my third-world internet connection) or is there a problem with the link for the video? I've tried and tried and I get nothing.

BTW....I work in a large metro area of Massachusetts where nine-of-ten registered voters are Dem; and , to be sure, so are the poll-workers. The cops in the city are, though, about one-in-five registered Rebublicans or regular conservatives--like moi.
Everytime I've worked a polling place, I've been always favorably impressed by the professional and impartial comportment displayed by the workers there--regardless of their political leanings.
Trust me....if there were any cheating discovered by me or my 'associates', people would be going to jail in a hurry. The cops take their job seriously, too.
I've seen mistakes made, but always addressed so as to insure a fair and accurate remedy. If what I've experienced here, in one of Massachusetts' Dem kingdoms, is reflective of things generally across the state, you may rest assured that the elections are fair.

Nothing personal, but are you blind? People have posted a couple photos of the two people's feet. Maybe you're just trying not to see the obvious?

My monitor is very old, and has poor resolution. I can't make out anything definite at the bottom of the curtain.
I already stated (can you read?) there probably are two people in the booth--I trust the other Freepers report factually; but I assert that there is no indication of fraud from the evidence presented, standing alone.
And, without more, I see the cop's actions as justifiable in the extreme. If it were I, I would likely have commanded the camera gal to leave--she did disturb the voter; and if there were any hesitation to obey my lawful command, also would have physically escorted the gal out of the polling place without arrest: election days are very busy, and arrest should be reserved for bad guys...not conspiracy-minded kooks.
Again , though, the sergeant would have been wiser to arrest for his own protection.
This is not a partisan issue: it's a matter of keeping peace and order in the poling-place.

Who do you think thought of this?

Here's a link to my photo of Ward 10 Precinct 1 in Boston this evening at about 6 pm which got me escorted to the door by Boston badge 4514.

The photo is of a seeing eye dog which is waiting on it's master to vote - presumably without assistance while in the next booth two individuals are making up their minds jointly.
When they left it was quite apparent to me that they were of European ancestry.
I was in this polling location for approximately 4 hours and witnessed at least 40 incidents like this. The excuse proffered by the demonrat election department employees was that the voters either needed translation assistance or had never voted before (in this country?)
I've heard of ballot box stuffing but how many people can you cram into a polling place before Mumble's Menino election department says enough.

Poster #2 said that it's viewed in QuickTime. I was in the same situation in that I couldn't view it at first, either. I had QuickTime on this computer, but it's a new computer and I hadn't used it before now, so had to install it in order to view.
You will have to download Quicktime if you don't have it somewhere (still uninstalled like me) to view.
Any questions about this - just ask - someone will help you out, I'm sure of it.

That's encouraging to know. It's also nice to see that this thread has largely died. The normals out there that haven't yet but still can be swayed to vote Republican won't necessarily think us so excitable.
