What a bunch of frickin' incompetents. I'd say it's time to replace the entire elections board. They can't do anything right.

Officials for the county and Election Systems & Software, the machines' manufacturer, said the machines would be of little value to anyone who finds them. Yeah, right! How stupid do they think we are? These machine are extremely "valuable" to someone who wants to change the outcome of an election.
To: FlaFreedom
The machines are in a shop where they are being rewired to produce a specified increase in the Democrat vote total as a function of the total Republican vote.
The fraud will be predetermined and untraceable.

Oh, they'll turn up all right. On election night, with just enough votes for McLawyer and a bunch of other crooked Dems to "squeak" by their Republican opponents.
The Dems have corrupted the ballot box nationwide, it's not just Florida. They are in complete control of a few key counties in just about every state, and are willing and able to stuff the boxes with whatever they need to win, even if it takes 200% voter turnouts and 100% to 0% Rat margins.

These idiots (Democrats in this case) could screw up a one-car funeral.
To: FlaFreedom
That does it: BROWARD COUNTY DOES NOT GET TO VOTE in Nov. unless those machines show up TODAY.
Shut that county down.

VOTER FRAUD ALERT.

I think the Governor(Jeb, in this case) can replace the elections board. However, with Florida being a Voting Rights State(former Jim Crow States), the Feds have the authority to get involved. I hate to see feds involved in anything, but this blatant fraud has to be stopped.

"Every day there is another surprise," Commissioner Kristin Jacobs said. "I just look forward for this election to be over so we can regroup and start fresh. This is absolutely numbing by now. It's unbelievable that there were no systems in place to track where the machines were."Note to Ms. Jacobs:
The time to "regroup and start fresh" is NOW, before the election.
Good grief!

"We don't know where they are. I don't think anyone does at this point," said Joseph Cotter, who was hired to fix the problems highlighted by the chaotic primary.
Wanna bet!!! Just search the DNC campaign headquarter... SIGH.

Hmmmm.....
Get your hands on the equipment and figure a way to squeeze more Democrat votes out of it.
This stuff is electronic; it can be "modified" to do whatever you wish. I would suggest that the GOP go in and low-level format every one of those hard drives BEFORE the election to ensure nothing has been placed on them. I would also suggest obtaining scats from the manufacturer including every ic chip, diode, transistor in the original design.
Wireless packet sniffers set up in the vicinity of the devices would be nice.(anyone with a laptop can do this)Software can be downloaded or purchased to quickly scan for wireless networks. Helpful in tracking and documenting wireless tampering techniques.
I could go on for quite some time regarding all the things that could be done to undermine the integrity of this voting machine. What it really comes down to is dedicated people getting involved and guarding those machines from the factory floor to the day they destroy it as a relic decades later.
Oh, How about the cards that I assume store and run the software for the device? Are they all accounted for? Wouldnt be to hard to modify software, reburn or replace a chip, swap out the entire device. (This is getting scary)

They're just gonna have to have Jimmy Carter show up with Nelson Mandela and Kofi Annan to monitor the vote in Broward this year </sarcasm off>
To: FlaFreedom
And to think that this county nearly cost Bush his rightful election. Sheesh! Throw them all in jail.

These devices should all have lo-jack styled tracking devices inside them. That way their location could be known AT ALL TIMES (including the drive from the polling center to the headquarters).

Commissioner Suzanne Gunzburger said. "This is taxpayer dollars being wasted, and I'm just appalled."
Bull crap!
If she was upset, why does she not try to correct the problem?
How? By having a Grand Jury investigate and indict the SoE.
Then convict the Soe and send her to prison.
