WASHINGTON The senior senator from Pennsylvania plans to seek an investigation into alleged ties between the two Americans convicted of the Oklahoma City bombing, members of Islamist terrorist groups, and the Iraqi military. "We will pursue it," Sen. Arlen Specter said Thursday after hearing a one-hour presentation from former Oklahoma City television reporter Jayna Davis on the information she uncovered in a multi-year investigation.

Joann Van Buren places him in a subway shop with Tim Mcviegh the day before the bombing. That's an interesting development. Do you have a source for the information.

Yes, he's going to be on Foxwire with Tony Snow. The previews showed pictures of the OK attack, with a pic of Spector, and mentioned an Al Qaeda connection.

Didn't Spector vote against force authorization against Iraq? Am I wrong about this? So why did he vote against it if he believes the OKC connection to be true?
To: Grut
I heard most of the interview on the radio. Spector played it very cool. I got the distinct impression he wanted to sprint out the door if he could. I'd expect zip in the way of him pushing for a renewed investigation.

He voted for the resolution on Iraq. Even he felt the groundswell of support.

Here is a link to an mp3 file of a satellite news conference Specter did on Friday, in reference to the Iraq vote. Not a word about the OKC Bombing, and no questions asked about it either, despite the presence of Philadelphia reporters.
I did not see Specter on Fox today but did not watch all day,I doubt he was there. It appears he's going to be in Philly tomorrow so it's unlikely he'll be on Tony Snow's show Sunday.
If anyone knows otherwise, please post. But this shouldn't be a big suprise.

Keep your chin up GGirl... Think about implications if he backs off: he said ON AIR that a transcript will be typed-up and the matter pursued; Sep 11th has happened, and butts are on the line to tidy-up our loose ends and provide safety for Americans; the media could twist-up his "turning his back on the information" (as a R-PA after all); and there are other Congresscritters as well asking about Jayna Davis' evidence ... I could go on, and on. Take care!

I am amazed that so far there is absolutely no new news on this showing up
anywhere. Stay on it.
