How can one distinguish your position from garden variety totalitarianism, socialism, fascism, or any other system of State supremacy?

Thinking about it helps. But even then some folks don't get it and go on howling because the community won't recognize their "superior intelligence" and turn all these matters over to them, therby avoiding all this messy democracy stuff.

News flash to the authoritarians. We don't live in a democracy. The founders were against it and made sure we didn't have one. It's called ochlocracy. Government by the mob.

Answering the question would help.

Just how do we distinguish your views from standard totalitarianism?

You and we already know that you share a common rhetoric.

So how do we tell the difference? I'm sure you are not knowingly a chum of Lenin and Hitler, et al.
