Looks like a huge profit potential to me. Lets black market cigarettes. I can get a carton in Missouri for 25 Bucks still. Take it to New york and sell for 50 bucks a carton! Better yet, wonder how many cigarette trucks are getting hijacked? Think of the profit!! This sounds as lucrative as selling crack cocaine. And government gets no tax. They don't get their cut off the top. What a shame.... what a shame. The government, in it's greed, has opened the door to a new and exciting opportunity for capitalism. Lets traffic tobacco!!
This is sarcasm of course, but clearly we can see where this will go. New York will have to hire more tobacco police, and there goes the windfall profits anticipated by creating the taxes. Government has become so predictable.
