Another great pounding by the Simon Campaign. Tomorrow, another great silence from the folks in the press

As I live in the People's Republic of California, let me just stress to you that these commercials are on CONSTANTLY--you really can't escape them if you watch any television--if Simon doesn't start slinging some mud of his own, he's toast.

A good pounding, but this needs to be spread far and wide. Otherwise, Red Davis will win in a landslide and California will continue to be a one party state.
To: 17th Miss Regt
It is hard to spread this far and wide on the measely budget of the Simon campaign.

He will. But keep inmind NO ONE IS WATCHING. There is a reason the networks paly reruns this time of year. People are on vacation, they are mowing their lawns in the evenings and they are not focused on the election.
Simon's ads will begin AFTER labor day when the campaign starts. It has always been that way. Davis is blowing all his money on these low-ratings buys because he has so much to burn and his negative ratings are so high. If Bill Simon spends his bucks now he won't have the money he needs closer to the election when everyone is apying attention.

That's an excellent point...I forget that, being a freelancer, I have the TV droning in the background all day long so I'm incessantly exposed to these damn things no matter where I turn.
Thanks for opening my eyes a little...it's dark in here ;)

Thanks for the ping.

I would love for Simon to win, but if a press release is all his campaign can muster in response to the Davis TV onslaught, he's toast in November.

Ought to be a law against it. LOL
To: everyone
I am so tired of Grey Davis and his tv ads. I accidentally called him Pete Wilson yesterday :)
He can rake all the muck he can, I'm still voting for Simon. Bill Simon is a good guy. A poster here put up a link to his website a few months back, I went there and read, and since I moved last year, registered to vote through the site :)

"It is hard to spread this far and wide on the measely budget of the Simon campaign."
All the Cali Corporations are sending their money to Doofus. I wonder if they consider it a bribe or is it protection money ala the MOB fear factor.

I see NOTHING but Davis ads.
Where the hell are ANY of the SIMON ads?
Is SIMON looking to keep the money raised for another election and just let DAVIS have his old job back unchallenged?
What the F!!!!!!!!

Pollution is exactly what Gray Davis' ads are. Anyone who wants to see what we'll get with another Davis term just needs to hop in their car and take a drive. We can't survive another 4 years.
I trust you guys know what you're doing. It's nerve-wracking sitting on the sidelines waiting and watching.
To: ElkGroveDan
On Sept 3 it had better be "All Simon, All the Time" on CA TV channels.
Holding my breath...starting....NOW!!.

I'M GLAD NO ONE IS SEEING THE ADS, BECAUSE THEY ARE "ALL OVER AT LEAST 30 LOCAL CABLE CHANNELS BY ME"!
Being on such a regular repetitive basis everywhere, I feel good nobody had access like me to them. LOL
I'm sure going unanswered for two months will serve the Simon camp very well.
