Wonder if the DoJ will investigate this fraud?
To: Recovering_Democrat
And these people are whining about the limited home rule that they do have and they want to become the 51st state!

"Do I HAVE to put the sarcasm tag in?"
If you dont, you may get a large number of replies explaining your ignorance, or a small number of trollers from "other" forums bookmarking you as a potential convert. ;^)

Why wasn't he on the ballot in the first place? Did he not announce his intentions to run in time?
To: Oldeconomybuyer
Ok, I recounted there are 7,003 phony names on the petetion.
Not to worry, Their excuse will be that petetioners couldn't write or sign their own names and the workers had to "Help" them by filling out the paperwork.

Count every fraudulent vote.
Where's Warren Christopher when we need him? He can say that Floriduh is an anomaly again. I kinda like bein' an anomaly. LOL

The singer Toni,Toni,Toni comes to mind. A one hit wonder from the early nineties.
This is just the beginning, ladies and gentlemen. Wait until Janet launches legal challenges at every step of the way AT TAXPAYER EXPENSE of course. She is going to challenge what color the sky is among other things. FV

He just wasn't black enough!
To: MinorityRepublican
Many of his constituents hated him because he was educated, intelligent and actually improving things in D.C. WITHOUT FRAUD. That simply could not be tolerated.

I know nothing about Mayor Williams, but his whole office is clearly unconstitutional. The fault is with the Congress, for shirking its responsibility to "govern" the district. Is Williams some kind of clintoid or what?

A one hit wonder from the early nineties.Au contraire, Tony Toni Tone! had FOUR hits: 'Feels Good', 'Little Walter', 'Anniversary', and of course 'It Never Rains In Southern California'. Short-lived Boys To Men wannabes, but good grooves and a favorite of Friday Night Videos(whoa, there's a flashback. I think every single episode played A-Ha's 'Take On Me'.)
"Tony Toni Tone! has done it again."

Mayor Baseball is the most Republican mayor this town has ever seen. He is a decent man of solid business acumen, having been the money man for the Control Board [Newt Gingrinch's signature gift to the Nation's Capital]. He is a novice politician, as his political organization attests, but the city of Washington is eminently a better place to live and work with this man at the helm in Judiciary Square.
DC can do a lot worse.

So Williams is a democrat and he's not corrupt?
Now that's something.
To: MinorityRepublican
So Williams is a democrat and he's not corrupt? In D.C., you are a democrat if you want to be elected. The only Republicans in D.C. are the ones in the Capitol and White House.

I own a business right outside of D.C. and live about 45 miles outside of the city and from everything I can gather about Mayor Williams, He is the most ethical and non-corrupt mayor in many many years in Washington D.C.
The Ballot issue is a reflection on his campaign staff and their lack of ethics. My opinion of Mayor Williams is that he is one of the better democrats. I have come to the conclusion that the Mayor has as much trouble finding good employee's as I do. So my opinion of this mess,... is that Mayor Williams is being jumped on by the city officials who have profited from the corrupt officials of the past democratic administraions. In closing... Mayor Williams is a good guy among a bunch of corrupt career bureaucrats who did better when the crooks were in office

Even after the bad names were removed from the list, he still had enough to get on the ballot. A nice try for a loophole, I still don't buy it.
To: rabidralph
"As a write-in candidate, he'll have to rely on people knowing how to spell his name."In D.C., that means he's well-and-truly screwed.
