By the third hour of this show, Lars had Congressman Greg Walden, Newt Gingerich and Mr. Lindamood collectively on the phone. Rep. Walden, who is on the Energy and Commerce and Resources committees has promised to get attention drawn to this situation immediately and he needs OUR encouragement. Greg.walden@mail.house.gov. , 1-800-533-3303.

You can catch Lars Larson’s remarkably informative shows on the net or across the Northwest on your radio dial. You may also link to your congress people on his web site. Besides, it’s usually a good read. WWW.LARSLARSON.COM

The gentleman with Carson Helicopters stated further that he had tried to get the local newspapers and the Oregonian interested in this story, but they didn’t have the time to hear it. He also stressed that the USFS has gone "green" and that we are supporting our own downfall by supporting the big Enviromental conglomerates. Don't be mistaken, the donation business is lucrative. Further, he noted that the media is not allowed to approach the fire areas or interview any fire fighters, pilots, etc. by order of the USFS. Noted by another source as well, bulldozers that locals have volunteered are kept from the fires until they pass USFS "inspection" and must only be 1 or 2 years old. Some have sat for days before being allowed to be used against the fire.

Our continued thanks go to Rosemary and Garth Harrington of KCMX, Medford for originally bringing this to our attention early Friday morning when no one else seemed willing to report it.

Definitely a "to steal, and to kill, and to destroy" agenda.  John 10:10.

At the risk of sounding too radical and anarchistic, the "system" is so distorted, warped and twisted that only a massive reorganization would do any good.

But, hey!......the Founders are dead and so is the nation they once led.

BTTT. The same kind of bureaucratic delaying BS killed those firefighters last year (wasn't that in Oregon, too?)

...Am I mistaken, has Lars been a host on the "Savage Nation"? Heard him somewhere, very good listen...

...Maybe after this "green" conflagration is over, brown earth, (carbon, nitrogen, hydrogen, and oxygen) can get back to business. I can wait for chlorophyll to regenerate...

This is a problem that pervades the whole helicopter industry and it’s part of the USFS big overall problem. So they shut us down and we went back to running about a 10 minute flight for water.

I personaly would have had a fit, got a gun and dared them to put communities in endangerment by confining me from firefighting duties. These Forest management people need to go to jail for confinement and endangerment.

Missed this yesterday. Emailing it to my list. Unbelievable. No media allowed. Dozers cannot be older than 2 years. John Stossel was explaining last night to a blearly eyed BaBaWaWa, how the eco-whackos are running the Goverment on Environmental issues. Zealots in all level jobs.

My opinion: The colleges are cranking these kids out. Environmental Studies very popular and taken from the UN's Agenda 21. As students they join all the NGO summer studies programs and get on their lists for employment. Throw the bums out.! I truly hope Bush does not attend Johannasburg

Good luck on your Colorado Freep today. If you see any USFS people out there, ask them about this story....be sure to see the part about Colorado.

The USFS firemilkers get paid a bonus as long as the fire is out of control. That's why their motto is "the more trees we burn, the more green we earn".

Forgive me if I already pinged you. I knew you'd want to see this. We have no organized local FR group. Just me, that I know of, so I guess that makes YOU 50% of the group, neighbor!

The federal government is good at three things: picking our pockets; erecting massive bureaucracies; and screwing up any job it takes over from local control.

Individually, there may be good people among these federal bureaucrats, but the federal firefighting teams are a huge failure...costing us our forests and homes and even lives.
