It's getting to the point that the only thing that's going to un-do this crap is for car dealers in CA to close up and auto manufacturers to quit selling their products there. Imagine every car dealer closed, with a big sign out front saying something like "Closed due to environmental regulations made possible by [Gray Davis, and list of Democrats who voted for it]. We can no longer sell new cars in the state of CA because of this law."
It won't be until that point that the absurdity of these environmental regulations hits home with people and then they'll protest it vehemently. It could be the best thing that's ever happened to CA Republicans!
In that event, Gray-man and his lib pals in the CA legislature will probably do what liberals do when things like this happen: pass legislation for more government regulation. IOW, they'll pass a law making it illegal for businesses to go out of business. Then again, if they did that, they might have a problem with the terms of The Emancipation Proclaimation.
Hey, the unions, including the UAW, supported Davis, and still do. They wanted him, now they're stuck with him, and probably will be for another term. I say them them stew. They made their lousy bed, now let them lie in it and squeal like the pigs they are.
