You can go whenever you want. There's no age that's old enough to die. But I'll promise you that if you take 100 smokers and 100 non-smokers percentage-wise the smokers die younger.

Maybe that doesn't matter to you diehard smokers--- that's fine.

But to the ignorant / innocent, they should be informed of the inherent risks they are taking.
