No Rabid, the problem is that people no longer give a darn about how others feel. We live in a society in which Number One is uppermost and immediate, personal gratification is most important to the individual.

I agree. Except where you think the smokers don't give a damn about how others feel, I feel the protesting non-smokers don't give a damn about how others feel. See how it goes both ways?
Of course, another way to look at it is the protesting non-smokers want everything catered to their personal preference, and if the state should be used to implement it, so be it. This is why I see the protesting non-smokers as bullies. And I hate bullies.
