I think we're all convinced by now that George W. Bush has the cross hairs on Saddam Hussein.

And it's clear from the latest Fox News Opinion Dynamics poll that the American public supports action against Saddam by a huge, huge margin: 75 percent for

Now maybe the truth will be realized. This commentary in my opinion is right on the mark.

McVeigh would never had talked, nor if he had told all he knew, the public did not want to believe it, so why say anything. I believe the public was stirred up into such a frenzy over McVeigh.

The same type of frenzy used by the Saducees and Pharasies in the crucifixtion of Christ.

slip away quietly to gloat about their death and destruction
in the safety of their lairs in Baghdad and Tehran.

Which is it, Baghdad or Tehran?

Those two are mortal enemies, they do not work together.

"Those two are mortal enemies, they do not work together."

Where did the Iraqi Air Force flee to safe haven in the Gulf War?

Aside from which, they have certain common interests.

Both have a "Kurd problem".

They share an enemy: Us.

While the two regimes mix like oil and water, and despite the Iran-Iraq Mutual Decade Long Memorial Bloodbath, there is some history of cooperation.

It could be Baghdad and Teheran...

Well, add to that the practical problem.
They do not understand one anothers' language.

"They do not understand one anothers' language."

Only Saddam, the Ayatollah and their intelligence officers need to understand one another.

I'm not suggesting that they're bosom buddies. But I believe they are capable of cooperating in certain sectors, on suitable projects. They don't even need to have joint operations, just a degree of coordination and direction.

For example, could Iran have funded Atta's WTC mission? And might the anthrax have been an extra cost option, courtesy of an Iraqi lab? All with al-Qaeda operating as the prime contractor, having operational control?

I don't believe there is a reason to eliminate either country from suspicion.

Are you sure that this is still true? Maybe they have forged an alliance of convenience. They would both stand to gain a great deal from doing so. There have been stranger alliances in history.

Don't be so sure that means we must pick only one. Iran has strong ties to Hamas. Iran does not lack for radical mullahs. Afgans are ethnic Persians (Pashtun). Or look at it this way: Just because these sand monkeys are at each other's throats does not mean they won't take a short break to kill some of us.

ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN where are you? Why didn't you report it then and are you reporting it now?

ABC News carried the AP story about how the government had warnings about mideast terrorist threats against government buildings a few weeks before the OKC bombing but they did not broadcast this story last night even though it was prominently featured on their website.

I think Bush knows what Clinton did and is afraid of how it would affect the country if ever let out.
