Did President Bush not campaign as a person who would work with both sides of the aisle to accomplish those things that needed to be done for the good of our nation? Sometimes you have to give a little to get what you want. I may not agree with every proposal he makes, but I never expected to agree with him 100% in the first place. Why is Bush held to conservative perfection and why do people expect for him to be in total agreement with their own personal philosophies? I don't recall any other President being held up to such scrutiny and expectations.

I don't recall any other President being held up to such scrutiny and expectations. Ah, I don't think we're picking on one isolated case because this isn't about one isolated case. It's an across the board problem with Bush. The guy simply is not centered in conservatism.

Working with both sides of the aisle in negotiations is one thing. Proposing, supporting, and implementing blatant socialist issues, legislation, and directives is another.
