You are right. The Dems continued calling for an investigation is going to open a major can of worms which will backfire on them. I believe with all my heart that there was Arab invovement in OKC and that Xlinton knew about it. My favorite question of the Reno-Xlinton FBI is; Why did we all of a sudden stop looking for John Doe number two? Do you really expect me to believe that Nichols and Mcviegh bombed the Murrah building on their own hook? Keep digging little Tommy,Mr.Lott wants his job back.
I believe Clinton did know exactly what happened in OKC and who was responsible for it, but in an effort to snatch (?) camera time biting his lip and feeling thier pain he decided it would play much better, with Monica and Impeachment in the works and Paula Jones breathing down his neck, to have some right wing skin head liberation front flunky (who had converted to Islam during Desert Storm), take the blame.
George Stephenopolis said as much on a TV news show (I think, can't remember which show) when he said they ran to the War Situation Room and Clinton said "not another terrorist bombing" or some such statement. He knew. He played it for all it was worth. There was no mention of this on any other news source. I have seen it referred to here.
