It is amazing how fast Davis can move on something this miniscule compared to the Energy crisis!
Of course this might impact him personally in his quest for Reelection!

It's amazing that this is the second (that we know of) business deal that California signed in a 12-month period that Davis is now scrambling to undo, and that people still want to send him back for four more years.

Attorney General Bill Lockyer said that lawyers in the department's criminal law division have opened an official investigation into the contract... Davis and Lockyer both took campaign donations from Oracle when the immediately after contract was awarded
Whom are these jokers trying to fool? If this is not the case of inmates running the asylum then what is???

Once again Gray Davis rides in on white horse to try to save the State of California....from himself.

Hi everybody, 1st time poster. I get the Sacto Bee, and one thing that I have noticed about their coverage of this story is that there is NEVER a mention of "Mr. Evil" Larry Ellison, founder and CEO of Oracle, and, not coincidentally, famous Clinton kneecap sucker, campaign contributor and sweetheart-deal maker. It's as though he didn't exist - you want to tell me that he wasn't in complete control of this deal??
