Those voters who would vote for Davis, could not express their opinion because their wireless digital phones do not work without electricity.

Californians voted overwhelmingly for Al Gore. I trust them to be stupid enough to re-elect Gray Davis, too.

Good News? It still shows Simon behind, largely unknown, and shows Davis with opportunity to smear and "label" Simon, if Simon doesnt first define himself.

IT ALSO SHOWS THE DAVIS IS A FAILED GOVERNOR IN THE EYES OF MOST VOTER WHO DESERVES TO BE DUMPED.

COME OUT SWINGING, BILL SIMON! Campaign hard and get your message out there!

Not to mention the proposed surtax to compensate the descendents of former slaves in the form of reparations.

I'm sure this will be levied only against evil, white, heterosexual males just to make it fair.

This is going to become irrational and nasty. In other words, mud is going to be slung as the dims fear losing power. Don't underestimate the dim critters you will see slander out the ol wazoo. The dims will have Simon as the devil harming the "CHILDRENNNNN". Simon will be shown to be a backer of Charley Manson or worse. Gotta love it as the liberal dumbasses in Calif realize their going bankrupt paying for all the social crap they do in their nirvanna they've tried to create for every little stupid special interest group. Now if only the stupids there go after the legislature too. Go Simon kick Davis's butt.

Good news, however, the low re-elect number is no guarantee of success for Simon. Turn-out is everything. Say only 43% of registered likely voters say they will vote for Davis but all actually show and vote. On the other hand, those that are undecided may not bother to vote if they dont have a reason to bring them to the poll. That means if Simon doesnt actually get 44% to show up and vote for him, he loses.

Are their any Senatorial elections or major propositions on the ballot that will bring out voters who while they are in the voting both will vote against Davis?

As of Sunday evening PDT ... 6Pm ... all the BayArea TV Stations, in tandem, are reporting that based on a recent poll Davis is ahead 44% to 29 % ...butt considering all the aforementioned stations are liberal ...and fed the same PR piece .... the results are not suprising ....

Simon is behind. And going down. Davis' scam about Simon hiding something by not releasing his tax returns is working.

I wouldn't bet the rent money on it! The California voters are stupid!! To their credit though, they did have enough sense to get rid of Condit.

Oh, is that all? On the three biggest issues for voters, graydavis failed. What more do voters need to know?

Davis doesn't have a thing to worry about -- He has the "Davis Chop". When he speaks -- and he is less animated than Al "Bunyon" Gore -- Davis makes a downward, karate-style chopping motion with both hands. Really commands the audience (/sarcasm)

Seriously, the main problem for Simon will be countering Davis' desperate media blitz, funded by a $50M war chest. Could convince enough California sheeple that Davis really didn't single-handedly destroy the finances of the state in three years. He actually said in the beginning of his term "Congress' job is to implement my vision." CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT! What an arrogant fool.

Lord, please hear our prayers.
