PALM SPRINGS -- In a move that could help gays and lesbians gain the right to marry, Gov. Gray Davis confirmed Friday that he has formed a task force to examine whether the landmark civil union law in Vermont could work in California.

Davis is seeking endorsements from private gay leadership to keep political power in CA. This comes the same week as news that the Bostonian priest was relocated to San Bernardino when NAMBLA was in its early formative stages, and the priest, Chandley was also a founding gay leader in the Palm Springs area working hard to build secluded gay clientele hotels and changing the flavor of Palm Springs from yesteryear Hollywood retiree home to gay/lesbianville. Davis IMHO is an outstanding example of an unholy, unrighteous leader who seeks after anything to destroy a nation in order to advance his personal agenda.
The group he won favor from had never previously endorsed a candidate for public office. What that means isn't written, but this story reveals alot about CA Democrats.
The homosexual community and businesses fret considerably about Palm Springs having earned a reputation of a rowdy college Spring Break mecca, but never is negative press given in the area regarding pro-NAMBLA and gay/lesbian empire building.
IMHO, They take offense by being called what they are, so let's just say Palm Springs has way too many 3-dollar bills. I believe in Deophobia, which they misnomer homophobia. I just hope I'm not in their vicinity when judgment takes effect.

Davis is seeking endorsements from private gay leadership to keep political power in CA. This is one group I would definitely NOT want behind me.

Davis can't keep the lights on, he can't keep the borders secure, yet he can spend time and effort to make it easier for perverts to marry. What a fine sense of priorities he has. He is a moron.
Gay Davis.

Davis is bucking the 2/3 of the California electorate that voted in favor of the Definition of Marriage Amendment. He won't lose any votes in the SF Bay Area -- they'll vote for him no matter what. But this could hurt him in the LA area and especially with Hispanics.

"In a move that could help gays and lesbians gain the right to marry, Gov. Is this the 'public task force' without names and not seeking the input of the public?

Davis scoffed at the criticism, saying there is a difference between the religious and legal contract of marriage and the purely legal rights outlined in domestic partner benefits and civil unions. There is absolutely no law on the books in California prohibiting one gay partner from leaving real and/or personal property to another gay partner in the event of death.
There is nothing forbidding a gay person from drawing up a power of attorney granting the other gay partner the right to make medical decisions in the event of incapacitation, provided they have the foresight to do so.
The only reason for this threatened legislation is to get support from gay and lesbian groups and destroy the sanctity of marriance. Heavy on the last one, come to think of it.
