Arnon Adar, a Los Angeles real estate executive, was appointed Monday by Gov. Gray Davis to a state salary-setting panel that has been short-handed in recent years.
Adar, chairman and chief executive officer of CNA Enterprises Inc., will fill one of two vacancies on the California Citizens Compensation Commission, a seven-seat panel that annually determines pay for the governor and other elected officials. State voters established the commission in 1990 by approving a ballot initiative.

I would be wary of a man who fears loss of power. He is liable to do anything.
He will make Al Goron look like a really popular loser, when he loses in November and leaves office in Jan 2003!
This insane bully has zero friends. People support him to prevent him from harming them. After he leaves, he will not be able to harm anyone again. A telephone booth will be too big to hold Herr Davis and any real friends after he loses. He will have to pay to get a Date on Castro Street in SF after Jan 2003!

I agree with everything you said in your post except what I repeated above.
Davis doesn't KNOW he's insane ... the insane never know it, they think that their reality IS reality. And he doesn't think he's worthless -- he thinks he knows what's best for everyone and anyone who doesn't is obviously someone who needs him to tell them. He knows EVERYTHING.
