[history]
Ty Pelfrey and his wife, Teresa, were on a plane from Sacramento to Burbank in mid-February when who should take the seat in the next row, with an entourage of security and support staff, but Gov. Gray Davis?
Pelfrey, a teacher, saw it as an opportunity. So despite a scowl from Teresa, he introduced himself to the governor. The two had a 10-minute conversation, with plenty of good feeling all around, he says.

What really cracks me up is this guy actually reported it to the media. If this Pelfrey were to start his own business, his toll-free number would be: 1-800-386-2277, OR...

despite a scowl from Teresa, he introduced himself to the governor... I think there is more to this story than ol Ty is telling us. The "scowl" from the wife makes me think she is probably the smart one. Maybe Ty has done this kind of thing before. Who knows how many partially finished projects he's got going at that home of his.

Agreed. Or if that 800 number's not available, how bout: 1 800-LEMMING

"The governor takes hundreds of flights," she said, and can't recall "in every detail" the conversations he has with the many people who approach him. Allow me to translate:
"The governor makes hundreds of lies every day. And he can't recall in every detail the lies he tells to the many people who approach him."
Close enough?

The misunderstanding was when California voters were led to believe they were electing a sane, honest, competent leader in 1998. They must not have seen the debates. It was pretty obvious from them that Davis was a petty, sneaky, and childish.

Anyone dumb enough to believe a thing Gray Davis says is probably unfit to teach.
