April 9, 2002 -- A "DEFIANT" Israel delivers a "slap" to President Bush with its "refusal" to "obey" Bush's "insistence" - no, his "demand" - that it begin an "immediate withdrawal."
The words in quotes have all appeared in American newspapers, news-channel crawls and wire-service reports in the past two days. They indicate that the U.S. media have decided the story line ought not to be the war between Israel and the Palestinian Authority, but rather a developing rift between the United States and Israel based on Israel's recalcitrance.

It's about *&$#@ TIME that we can read an article without a pro-Palestinian slant. I'm really sick and tired of hearing how saintly and innocent and victimized the po' Palestinian folks are.
First we have the *&%$# news media aiding and abbetting the anti-Semitic propaganda that the US is somehow "controlled" by Israel...NOW we've got the *&^%$#@ news media expecting us to believe that the US somehow "controls" a SOVEREIGN nation???
Both bits of propaganda are equally dangerous to free peoples everywhere. Both still put forward the notion that Israel must go, death to all Jews, if you're with Israel, you're against us and are therefore a target, etc., etc...while Yasser and his partners in crime continue to get a free pass from the world, no matter WHAT crimes against humanity they gleefully commit.
Wanna bet?
9-11. Never forget.
It is also 'possible', and just as likely, that those troops will mutiny. Which is to say vitually beyond the realm of possibility.
Israel is,in effect,a welfare mom. If they don't want to play by our rules,we should cut off their AFDC,their food stamps, and the other welfare subsidies they get from the US taxpayer. If they don't like this, let them pay their own way.
It's simple. OUR taxpayer money goes to support Israel, and they couldn't survive without it. In return,we get nothing.
We give lots and lots of cash to *all* of the countries involved.
Why is Israel the only one expected to march to our orders?
We give billions to Egypt to keep them docile vis-a-vis Israel; we started to fund the Palestinians hoping to get the same result. In other words, if we were not trying to do Israel's dirty work in the first place, we would not also be giving money to the Arabs, in addition to the billions we are already giving Israel. In reality, the money we give the Arabs is also money for Israel - because it is intended to buy off Israel's enemies. It's not working at the moment with the Palestinians, because of Islamic extremists who want no deal with Israel, but then again the Israelis helped create the Islamicists in the first place as a counter to Arafat's authory....and Sharon knew quite well that a side "benefit" of letting the Islamicists loose was going to be a scuttling of any plan to buy off Arafat with Israeli land and American money, the same way we bought off Egypt (with the Sinai and billions in US aid).
No matter who we give the money to, however, it serves the same end: serving Israeli interests. If we just minded our own business, however, and let the two sides beat each other senseless, they would eventually be forced to some kind of peace, if only out of shear exhaustion - and we would not have to pay billions for the priveledge of being hated by both sides for our "services". Nor would we be opening ourselves up to suicide attack by the Islamacists, or to more political manipulation by the Zionists and their American neo-con lackeys.
But then, the Constitution, and the constitutionalist foreign policy advocated by George Washington, is effectively dead. The USA is nothing but a pawn and money-bag man to the Zionists. We have effectively ceded our foreign policy initiative to the Pod-people (Podhoretz & Co.), and to the yahoos on this forum who bay for blood behind the safety of their monitor and keyboard.
You are an ally of Osama bin Laden, and I do not correspond with terrorists.
And Bush certainly doesn't work for Sharon. Let's all just remember that with regard to the U.S. and Israel, we're talking about two separate countries, with two separate governments, two separate sets of interests, two separate sets of priorities, two separate histories, two separate sets of circumstances and two separate destinies. Where any two separate points meet (and they meet in many places) that's just fine, but they're still separate, so no one should be surprised that our interests and priorities diverge from time to time.
Duly noted that you have called for more aliyah to the Land of Israel and more settlements in Judea and Samaria.
So let it be written,
so let it be done.
