And all of my ancestors arrived here as legal immigrants. Illegal means that those who have here come as wet backs are breaking our federal laws. Do you understand that? I can't help it if Mexican politicians have bled the country dry, suppressed dissent and generally screwed their citizens and ruined their economy.

Mexico sits on a huge supply of oil and should be prosperous and progessive. That it has not improved the situation should not mean that we should be obliged to rescue their poor by allowing them free access to our nation and ignore our laws. I suggest that you volunteer to go to Mexico and help them improve their economy and political system.

And what about those ancestors that did not come here legally? Since we all know your family all came here legally, what do you suppose we do with those that didn't? Kick their great grandkids out?
