[history]
Since Sept. 11, demand for the matricula has spiked, with immigrants standing in line for hours each day. The Chicago consulate said it has been issuing 300 cards daily.
"There are certain needs we have that can be met with a matricula," said Jesus Romero, an illegal alien who recently stood on line with dozens of other immigrants to get the card that essentially guarantees better access to U.S. public and private institutions.

Here they come.

ID for security sounds like Social Security, or, rather, insecurity, or what about the department of truth and true identity. Morons. All these new laws are solely focused on destroying American jurisdiction.

Jurisdiction??? Heck, look at our sovereignty going out the window. Open one-way borders with Mexico. Death to Mexico that's my motto.

Wonderfully hard working people coming here to work for a better life for themselves and their families. We are truly a melting pot.

Just the whisper of the word "amnesty" has almost a million Central Americans and Mexicans moving northward. Fox and the PANistas probably get $10 out of the fee paid by these folks to the coyotes to hustle them across the border. The issue of "illegal" will never go away so long as we keep granting amnesty retroactively; they will always believe they are covered by the NEXT grant.
Willie and PanderAl aren't hustling votes now. Why allow the dems to get even more illegal voters to support them? Most important, if the flow of illegals continues and the labor market weakens, these folks, already criminals, will turn to crime for income, at least, once the money they got for carrying the dope and the bills they got for voting are gone.
Are the people in Washington insane? THE BORDER MUST BE SEALED!!! BTW, to be fair, the Mexican counsulates have to issue some of these cards in Arabic; it is the nonjudgmental thing to due.

Yes, there ARE some very genuine people from Mexico, but there are also way too many scammers who are here for nothing but the goodies. It looks like you live in Virginia. Try visiting California. In my county, the Mexicans are now the majority, I'm in a minorty group now. I heard a stat that something like 80% of CA prison inmates are illegal Mexicans. It's out of control here.

Planned invasion. You bet, this government has no intention of stopping this titanic invasion of millions.
To: VA Advogado
They are criminals and you support criminality by your words. They have no business being here and many of us are dedicating ourselves to throwing them out of OUR country. I don't care what they want or what you want. We are going to be a nation of laws or the issue will be in the streets. You wouldn't want that alternative, believe me.
If they want to come to the U.S. so badly, they can follow the law.
I may want to better my life by breaking the law but I become a criminal in doing so.
To: Joe Hadenuf
This is insanity. I want as little to do as possible with Mexico. It's just another rotten 3rd world country though since we share a border they try to milk us to the max. Let them sort out their problems in Mexico. Bar the door to the USA! The Mexican quota is more than full for the next 20 years based on their ongoing invasion by hook or by crook or by scam.
All the above applies to Central America.

Wonderfully hard working people coming here to work for a better life for themselves and their families. We are truly a melting pot.How many millions are enough for people like you? 25 million more? 62 million more? 90 million more?
Once again, these people come from corrupt countries, that are run and operated by criminal dictators. Either these people don't have enough guts, or drive to make their own countries right.
They are choking off our social services, filling our jails, standing room only in many big city ERs, they are driving the wages down, while driving taxes up, while many of our trama centers shut down due to non paying illegal aliens, our classrooms are packed, and our landfills are full and our energy resources are limited.
End the immigration disaster. Tell them to stay home and make their own coutries right. We don't need anymore.
To: flamefront
You'd think our INS would see this report and send a couple hundred agents to various consulates around the country to arrest these invaders.
But oh, I get it, these are Mexicans and it doesn't matter whether they break our laws.
It is interesting how we make EVERYBODY go through metal detectors at airports under the theory that anyone could be a terrorist, yet when it comes to illegal immigrants we trust the government to know exactly which illegals need to be arrested and which don't. If our intelligence is that good, maybe we should save ourselves a lot of hassle and get rid of airport screening. Alternatively, if our intelligence is not that perfect, I suggest we start enforcing our darned immigration laws.

"What we are doing is giving a reliable document to our people for identification for whatever reason they need it," said Carlos Sada, Mexico's Consul General. What outrageous in-your-face arrogance.
