More red meat doom and gloom for the anti-immigrant crowd.

Mr. O'Sullivan didn't mention that the anti-bilingual referendum passed with large Hispanic support.

Also Mr. O'Sullivan doesn't mention that Bill Simon is leading Gray Davis in the Califronia governors race at the present time.

According to Mr. O'Sullivan rant Simon should be 20 points behind because of the lockstep Hispanic support for Davis, but he isn't.

Maybe Mr. O'Sullivan can't see that Hispanics are just like other people and can see incompetance when they see it and will vote against it.

But that would mean that Mr. O'Sullivan would actually see Hispanics as human beings, which it appears he doesn't.

If you are refering to proposition 227 which was passed by California voters several years ago, you are completely wrong. It lost among hispanics in California by nearly 60%. Only huge majorities among other ethnic groups put it over the top. If you are refering to some other ballot initiative besides California's proposition 227, I would very much like to read more about it and would appreciate a link to an article about it.

Not true. Initially Hispanics supported it. However as the advoicacy groups moved in, the support declined to under 50%.
This actually hurts your case, by showing just how controlled the Hispanic groups are by the left. All minority immigrants tend to follow thier community leaders. Americanization takes 2 or more generations. Look at voting patterns of the Germans, Irish ( try 3 to 4 generations), Eastern Europeans, and Jews. Compare that to data on Hispanics.

Also Mr. O'Sullivan doesn't mention that Bill Simon is leading Gray Davis in the Califronia governors race at the present time.

Rudy Giulliani and Mike Bloomberg won New York City. That doesn't change the overwhelmingly Democrat nature of this immigrant city.
Also, we will see Hispanic support for Simon fall drastically once La Raza and other groups move in.

All individuals are like other people. However, communities have characteristics. To ignore this is to put ideology above history. Your use of a racial smear belies the leftism in your arguement.
