We just had a swift kick in the head (and the nuts). Eight long disgusting years of it. You can have it. I'm not about to help re-elect Clinton/Gore.

No one hated Clinton more than me, however, I must say, the economy was better in the last eight years, we didn't have religious freaks slamming our planes into skyscrapers killing thousands, and even Clinton didn't even suggest, let alone grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens.

Clinton was a socialist screw worm and very offensive, most of us know that. However, having said that, I don't think Clinton is the issue here.

You know I don't want to argue with you, because I truly respect what you have done here with FreeRepublic. FreeRepublic has to be the second greatest invention ever (right after sliced bread).

I just believe that at some point we have to hold the R's accountable. We Freepers probably represent the 20% most Conservatives in America, as long as we support Bush and the R's no matter what they do, they will never care about the issues that matter to us. I cannot support Bush just because he is a better president than Clinton, heck my dog would make a better president than Clinton, but I wouldn't want her in office.

I don't think the forum majority is suggesting this either.

I do think that many are suggesting that we replace 43 at the head of the ticket in 2004.

As I suggested to you last evening; we both live in the same town and we've both seen what unregulated, unfettered, quasi encouraged, massive, illegal immigration has done to our city in the last twenty years.

I think we're in the minority. Have you ever seen such nice things written about Clinton & Gore in this forum before?

Not enough people understand or want to admit that's what they are doing.

Combined with that is the mistaken notion that there is no difference between the two.

They mistake not as big a difference as they'd like with no difference.

Also, the ultra-cynical and nihilistic mind set and worldview instilled by the liberal influence that permeates everything is at play in causing people to come to the "they're all the same" attitude.

Liberal thought can affect people who do not buy in to the liberal political agenda in negative ways.
