No, they got the idea from watching his father and Bill Clinton. Jerry Springer had nothing to do with it.

Fat, lazy, and licentious societies are always easy prey for the leaner, more disciplined ones.

Bush knows very well that one of the hijackers was born in this country. How he could say the terrorist (including Ossama) didn't know that we would come to get them is ludicrous. However, so far their hope that the Muslims living over here would join them in their jihad against America has backfired in their faces.
Bush shouldn't being using Clintonian propaganda tactics even though they are well received by the sheeple.

GWB is getting caught up in the "Why don't they like us" hysteria. They don't like us because we are INFIDELS. Springer has nothing to do with it. A GWB throw-away line for a few laughs (and thank you, Reuters, for "explaining" the Springer show to us! That was so cute and foreign.) Officially, the US Gov't cannot officially blame the attacks on a violent cult off-shoot of Islam. But, to blame it on Springer? Come on. The Feds' view: We can't handle the truth.

Who is the woman and what team does she belong to that gave President Bush the no. 2 jersey with no name on it? Inquiring minds want to know.

President Bush told college sports champions Tuesday that the Sept. 11 attackers must have gotten an idea of the United States as a weak nation from watching "The Jerry Springer Show."I tend to disagree with Bush on this one. If it were true what he said, they would've flown trailers into the WTC towers.

Why is there so much contention on this thread? People spend billions of dollars on advertising because they know good and well that what people see, they believe. Our media and hollywood has portrayed us for years as weak, our households run by women, the men are dumb and fat, we've had Springer, Oprah, Sally Jesse Raphael, and soap operas saying Americans are immoral, vain, materialistic. Why would we be surprised when we find out that people believe that is what America is.
Think about that for a minute. Watch just one day of soap operas and think about the impression this must give foreigners.
