I really hope that some of these Damolcraps watched it as they seem to have a lacking in long term memory. Especially Dasshole, Gepfart, Hollings, Byrd, etc..

I'm a little sickened by the arrogance of the media. Somehow, they think they are capable of watching scenes of violence and death, but that they need to 'edit' out that stuff for the average joe.
For some reason, I don't trust their motives. Honestly, after watching that video last night, I was thinking that without seeing even one single body, not to mention the hundreds of bodies and body parts they apparently edited out, it was tough to really truly appreciate the death associated with this horrible attack.
Oddly enough, when it comes to Israeli-Palestinian violence, the media doesn't hesitate to show the victims. Are our dead better or something?

I can't get the sound of the first plane's engines braking out of my head. Then the big shattering slam into the side of the building...
Have we EVER done anything to ANYBODY that rivals the brutality of that act?
Hiroshima and Nagasaki were more horrific than this...but that was the culmination of a long war for the future of earth. This is coing from some half-assed desert land inhabited by brutal animals. WHat did we do to match this?
How in the hell can ANYONE think that we must sit around and drink chamomille tea with two hands opinionizing about the US's evil deeds worldwide after that? How?

That's my reaction as well. The images last night were memorable, but they didn't shock me because they were so sanitized.
I thought it odd that we could hear the word "fuck" and "fucking" broadcast on network television last night, but we couldn't even see a single victim during the entire film.

I watched 9/11 last night, I rarely watch anything other than Fox News. I must say it was very well done. I'm not sure I would have wanted to see the dead as there may have been someone I knew. I hope that the Rats are hiding their heads in shame this morning especially chief rat Hildabeast. Anyone who supported the Klintons and found them to be above the fray I no longer want to know! I blame the Klintons and their supporters for what happened 9/11. It's only that simple!

I missed the CBS program. I don't watch anything other than FOX so I missed all of this. It sounds like it was very powerful. I am glad that they had the guts to show it. But I am afraid that it would of been way too emotional for me to watch.

Sometimes, some things are more powerful than acutally "seeing" dead bodies, limbs, etc.
Hearing the jumpers land and watching the firemen jump everytime a jumper landed was more powerful than actually seeing the corpses.
This was wonderful. You can see it all in the eyes of the firemen. I was worried about the "Probie".
The most stunning moment was the elderly office worker just standing there in shock. His expression said it all... "it's the end of the world."
I am changed. I want to do more than just watch and send money. If I was young enough, I would enlist. I may check out the Americorps.
Overall 5 stars.

but we couldn't even see a single victim during the entire film. I understand your point but with the crashing sounds that was heard as the bodies fell .. I don't think pictures were needed ...
I think we all knew what was going on and if some didn't .. then they are pretty dang stupid and don't get it ..

It was moving and I felt the brothers did a very respectful job of filming. I was moved when the one brother decided he did not think it was right to film the two people on fire. And yes the sound of the bodies hitting bottom was horrible. I can't imagine what those poor folk went through. While we did not see bodies .. but to the see pain in the faces of the firemen when they spoke of finding body parts was very telling.

I was especially moved by the shots of the WTC in the background, casually accepted as part of the NY scenery.
I recently experienced an identical emotion when I saw my now-deceased father in a family video, calmly doing his thing.
The emotion is hard to pin down. It's a mixture of longing and homesickness, combined with that feeling of love that you get when you catch of glimpse of someone you love dearly in a crowd or at a distance.
I couldn't take my eyes off The Towers whenever they came into view, and I decided that the best memorial NYC could build would be to erect huge skeletal towers where the WTC structures once stood. The surrounding ground would be pristine and natural grass out of respect for those who died and the buildings would be only girders so the blue sky of Heaven would be visible all around. The monument would be as tall as the original twin towers, filling the void in the NYC skyline and showing the world that we can recover and we will remember.

The French cameraman (and weren't they great) said he just couldn't bring himself to film it. I probably couldn't film it either. Like you said, the sound was enough.

Absolutely right. The faces said it all.

I missed the CBS program. I don't watch anything other than FOX Same here .. actually I had mixed feeling about this show but I am glad I watched it and that CBS aired it ..
And whenever I hear the likes of Dasshole .. Gephardt .. Kerry and the other Rats question why we are in the war ..
This should be replayed over and over and over till these idiots finally get it ..
This can NEVER happen again!!!

Yes and the war is not about Enron, K-Mart, or oil. The next time Daschle wants to ask why we are at war someone please play a sound bite of the bodies hitting the pavement.

Absolutely right. The faces said it all. Did you see the look on Father Judge's face .. he knew
And the looks on the Firefighter's faces as the sound of the building was coming down .. They knew also
God Bless All those men
