Wait 'till God says "Keep the Red Cross out...OR ELSE!!"

Your mother is most gullible!
You should encourage her to spend time here to get hardened to that leftist crap. I have no intention of debating the topic of the Red Cross with my mother, nor would I ever encourage her to subject herself to the flame wars here on Free Republic.
As a Red Cross volunteer nurse, she is much more familiar with (and involved in) the useful activities that the Red Cross engages in, rather than with its fundraising scandals and politically correct administrative mindset. In my previous post I was merely passing on some of the information she picked up while attending yesterday's volunteer recognition luncheon.

The Red Cross has come under increasing scrutiny during the last six months. When it was discovered that they were not going to spend all thedonations related to 09/11 on victims of that event, reaction from the public and government influenced them to change their mind.Last night CBS Sixty-Minutes made a presentation that sought to claim this wasn't the first time the Red Cross had tried to use donated funds on unrelated activities. Those who listen to this real audio file will hear a report that sounds a lot like the events surrounding the 09/11 fund.
Click on the link for the audio from last nights Sixty-Minutes' Report. LINK
There's a little background noise on this. Sorry about that.

when I went to boot camp in 68, a bunch of poor kids off to the war the salvation army GAVE us a bag of envelopes paper pencils and tolitries needed to get through it all. when I got to viet nam the red cross sold us dry socks coffee and doughnets. and if a realitive died they were the only ones who could approve your emregency leave and loan you money at leg breaker rates to get home. just my observations regards

Works for me. Haven't given a dime in years and don't intend to in the future. They don't want to offend anyone. Well nuts to the American red cross. You have just offended the majority.

The dispute centers only on our sensitivity to religious diversity, and a preference for a music program that would be inclusive and not offend different populations participating in this particular event". Um ...do you mean AMERICANS???

Spread the word, tell a friend let it be known far and wide. They are crooks, cheats and profit from misery.

Perhaps someone should sue the Red Cross, since their very symbol may be offensive to non-Christians.
To: mrustow
the red cross is for socialism and they teach it and use the money to advance it.

They had better change their name then, because the CROSS is the main symbol of Christianity.

Maybe we should email O'Reilly about this--he did much to expose the Red Cross 9-11 money scandals!

Shhhh! Not so loud!
Don't you know you will offend the atheist population that has infested FR? They will tell you that, through Objective Morality, none of this could ever be their fault. They are the tolerant haters of God. < /sarcasm>
Tell it like it is, my friend!

The Red Cross has the right to run their org as they see fit.
And I have the right and I choose NOT to send ANY of my Money to them ever again! First the 9-11 fiasco and now this. I pray they go under and yield to a new organization (s).

Ya...the "DEAD CROSS" should remove the Red Cross symbol from all that is attached to their organization.
It will not be long...you will here a siren..and look..then a white van will streak by with the words "GHIA" on it...maybe a picture of a "Buddist monk" seated with an outstreched hand..symbolizing ..Begging for funds..and help from the Universe!

I worked for the San Diego Red cross once. Very PC, very U.N. This is no surprise to me. I saw this coming a long time ago. I guess what surprises everyone is that at one point the Red Cross was associated with patriotism. They are still on bases and they still do inform active duty of child births/deaths, etc. and with loans. However, apart from that, very PC. I quit giving to them and the Untied Way a long time ago.

What an experiment in social evolution Americ(k)a has become. To see just how messed up a nation can get and still function. It is like seeing how much ice you can gather on an airplane's wings before all lift goes away. The problem with both experiments is that the end result is usually so catastrophic that the conversion from theory to fact is lost in the flames. That loud mouthed, cowardly, piece of dirt Alec Baldwin is a multi-millionaire while the young SEAL that just died in Afghanistan was making less than $29,000 a year. The American Red Cross begs our money and then spits in our eye. They gave $110.00 to each Alpine fire victim while their San Diego director hauls down $309,000.00 a year. I'm old enough to remember when this was a nice place to live. As for donations to the Red Cross...NEVER!

Does anyone have any of those pads of Clinton Dollars that The Slick Times printed up a few years back. They would be perfect.
To: far sider
That's a really good idea! I'm not sure where to find some but someone else here may know where to get some.
