You are correct. This close vote was absolutely by design..I watched..i saw vote totals going back and forth..One second there were 100 republican votes against..A second later there was 99 votes against.. Then 100 votes again a few seconds later. They are so full of crap. The leadership allowed the reps that took the most heat from their constiutents to vote against it... I know this game. This was going to pass no matter what.

I have no doubt that one of the votes will be Hall from TX--the Demo that Bush endorsed over a GOP. Granted, Hall appears to be more 'conservative' than some RINOS, at the end of the day when they vote to screw the Country, they are traitors......

This is just the beginning. Bush has made no secret of the fact he wants even broader amnesties after this. I don't how much more we can do but just vote them out. This is an exact repeat of what happened in 1996 with that legislation.

I suggest setting up a state-by-state task force. Any pubby who voted FOR 1885 (and its senate version) should be automatically actively FReep'd in their respective elections. The rest will have an immigration score card drawn up by FReepers from their respective states who have researched the voting records of their representatives and senators.
