If a white person kept a poor injured black person shut up in their garage until they died....even without hitting them with their car first....it would undoubtedly be a hate crime, wouldn't it?

I monitor what my kids watch on TV. I'm no fan of the Disney Channel (AKA "the Rat) and I sat down with my kids to see what they were watching.

A new cartoon called "The Proud Family" came on Disney. Then the indoctrination began. After 5 minutes I told the kids to turn it off.

The attorney was saying that the man died after only three hours, instead of two days--as if this makes the crime any less heinous.

In the article above, the savage who committed this act is African-American, and the victim was white. Why did you choose to omit this information? Isn’t this a true hate crime?

If the races where reversed would you also keep quiet?

Long ago I stopped reading your newspaper because of your unbelievable biased editorials, selection of letters to the Editor, and the way you report the news. If you needed one more example, here it is.

You should write to your local paper too. I doubt they will publish it, but if they receive enough letters like this it may help.

My girlfriend's Asian. I introduced this story to her and gave her my views and her response was albeit that there's no excuse for what she did, blacks are treated differently, "have been the target of racism," as well as economically disadvantaged for so long, shouldn't it be expected that a high level of resentment might follow?.

In other words, blacks shouldn't be judged by the same standards as whites. Just like we don't judge children by the same standards as we do adults. Isn't that it?

This is a very common attitude among liberals. Their supposed "compassion" is really just a smokescreen for their patronizing attitude towards blacks.

Ft. Worth would be in flames. Literally.

Rev. Al would be on national TV calling for air-strikes against the white suburbs of Dallas & Ft Worth.

The major network anchors would be on TV every night, on prime time, tears streaming down their cheeks, asking "isn't it about time we begin paying those reparations."

Not, she is most probably an American and her lawyer is a crazy man too saying "she had an accident, panicked and made a wrong choice". She chose to not help a person in complete distress, after causing that person's terrible agony. It seems that her victim being white only served to encourage her to do as much harm as she could. Does your girlfriend watch TV and read publications such as Newsweek and Time? Has she seen the movies "Mississippi Burning", or "Rosewood"? We are being bombarded daily with negative images of evil White people. Too many people are influenced by what they read and see on TV and movies. This saddens me so, as the only reason I can see for this to be happening is to make sure the races hate each other. I'm always wondering what the true agenda is. The Powers that Be obviously want there to be racial tension. I think they want it to get out of hand. But why really, I still haven't figured out.

Forget about professional sports. I actually think that's mostly a meritocracy. So what if the top 1% of blacks can jump a bit higher, and maybe the stuff about IQ differences is true. I don't care--that's genetics.

What gets me is PC public school indoctrination. Whites have put up with an awful lot of mindless "black is better," and they are getting tired of it. Look at the black women doctors and starship troopers on TV -- not impossible in isolation, but clearly overrepresented as a mirror of how society actually works.

You can also look at the Civil Service. I know a very qualified guy (white) with a masters in Forestry Science who gave up on advancement in the US Forest service. There was no way.... he found another line of work. I'm talking reverse discrimination--as you are--but I don't think pro sports is the best example of it. If you say that pro sports ought to have a race based quota system, I have to respectfully disagree. I want to appreciate the art--I want the boxers to hit hard and the basketball players to jump high, regardless of race. Just don't give me any Cornel West pretend-intellectuals in the name of equality.
