Actually, it is not outside the realm of possibility that he could be prosecuted under RICO, given the breadth and depth of his affiliations and activities....

Only about 30% of RICO cases are against traditional mob type organizations. It is not the nature of the organization that determines whether or not RICO applies, it is the acts of those individuals who control and run those organizations. Even judges and politicians have been convicted under RICO. Organizations do not commit crimes; individuals do, although an organization can be held liable for the damages of the RICO predicate acts.

What do you mean IF? He basically is, but since he's black and wears a tie and calls himself reverend he gets a free pass.

If Jesse wasn't a liberal minority, he'd be facing RICO charges. RICO is applied to numerous rackets beyond the traditional "mafia." If it was Clarence Thomas, the indictments would have been handed down decades ago.

Even Don King, who is legendary for this type of shenanigans, doesn't get the same pass from law enforcement that Jesse does.
