A cool idea would be for someone that knows java to program a live ticker that would scroll across the FRnames of donors under the FReepathon status bar.

Sent my donation. Nicely said. We've not only ourselves to consider but also our children and children's children. Thanks for the post. Selflessness is a characteristic of true conservatives, and we'll make such sacrifices as we must to secure our nation's freedom and prosperity, even if it means our lives.

Thank you for this post.

I was wondering if this was going to be like one of those PBS or NPR begs where you 'cast your vote' for your favorite thread by donating on that one. Well I voted with my credit card on one of my favorite threads, "The Guild"! I'm also partial to "A Day in the Life". FR just ROCKS! It is the first site I log onto in the morning and (as you can tell by the time) one of the last things I check out before I shut down for the night.

Thank you, Jim Rob and all who do such hard work to keep this going for all of us!

Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater...confidence than an armed man. -- Thomas Jefferson

America's brave young men and women are putting their lives in harm's way so that we will remain free. Meanwhile the Senate Majority Leader of the "disloyal opposition" is putting his hand on your paychecks looking for more ways to fund his pet projects as he does nothing else but criticize, obstruct our President's programs.

It's High Noon Time; to win the war on terrorism, to win the battle of ideas, we need the right stuff to keep alert, aware, and active. Although, Daschle and his boys would rather us be good little fluffy meekI'm thinking it is much more appealing to be a healthy robust roaring muscular.

It's really up to us to keep the Spirit of '76 alive. Ring the Bell of Freedomwith your donation to keep her engines purring strong and mighty while giving you the best tools to fight the battle of ideas and help support the brave men and women on the battleground fighting against terrorist scum. In the meantime, we will keep an eye on these two wily characters and their incessant meaningless chatter and complaints about Bush's Tax cut gives mufflers to Lexus owners.

Let's Roll Freepers, FreeRepublic.com needs your help!

Who are FReepers? Just ordinary people from all walks of life who passionately love FReedom and Liberty.

What is FReeRepublic.com? Well, I can't answer for everyone who visits here but IMHO this web site is the vision of one man named Jim Robinson, our gracious generous host, who created with his own two hands and great mind the fastest paced, most up-to-date forum for news and discussion of the events and people that shape our world.

Why? We live in serious times. A time when more than ever we need serious men and women in leadership roles. Men and women who will protect, defend and preserve our Constitution and our way of life. FReeRepublic.com offers a feast of delectable news items that will help visitors become and stay aware. Best of all the forum offers an opportunity for people to actively participate by sharing their thoughts and opinions.

Where? FReeRepublic.com is every where the vigorous heartbeat of freedom and yearning for liberty pounds in the hearts and minds of men and women.

When? FReeRepublic.com is open 24/7. Anytime you want to log on, click on, FReep on! Jim Robinson keeps his door open for you.

Was? Well, we hope not. Ever. But to keep FreeRepublic's engines running 24/7 it takes energy. And energy costs. If you like what you see and you wish for more, please donate and bump.

Win? With your help FReeRepublic.com will continue to be Cyberspace's soaring beacon of freedom's light.
