'The war on terrorism,' says Professor Paul Rogers, of Bradford University's Department of Peace Studies, 'is simply a euphemism for extending US control in the world, whether it is by projecting force through its carriers or building new military bases in central Asia.' What the freak is a "Department of Peace Studies"?
I'm thinking here, "Peace, peace, but there is no peace. . . ."
As for this Beijing parrot shrieking hegemonism ("extending US control in the world")--shades of "imperialist warmonger".
Why couldn't Paul Rogers have been in the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001?
Paul, stay back: my dog will bite.
He's saying something that almost sounds like "The US appreciates the WTC attack, which it now uses as an excuse to conquer the world." Very similar in ways to Arab delusions about the attacks being executed by Jews.
Strange people. Wonder what drugs he's on..
"What the freak is a "Department of Peace Studies"?"Good catch! I didn't even notice that.
"Dept. of Peace Studies." Typical, isn't it?
