We had a lengthy debate Friday night [
on this thread] about the appropriateness of Danielle Van Dam's attire. I said that her parents were dressing her up like an S&M bondage slave and that it looked like she was being groomed for a career in the porn industry. I also said that if a woman wants the men in her life to think that she's a hooker, a nympho, or a sado-masochist, then all she needs to do is wear a choker every day [I also weighed in against ankle bracelets]. In
this reply, Travis McGee posted the [albeit hearsay] story that the Van Dams were making gay porn still shots in their garage.
I re-posted the photo montage with the new picture of Danielle [above] - to my eye it looks like these pictures were taken over a period of a year or more, AND HER PARENTS ALWAYS DRESS HER IN THAT HIDEOUS CHOKER!!! There is something wrong here.

Okay, thanks for clearing that up.. I was honestly curious.
I dunno how I feel about this. I mean, one persons jewelry might be a signal or it might not, and little girls wear allot of stupid stuff anyway..
(have you seen the jeans that cost a fortune because they are pre trashed? Basically half their life removed and reduced to rags as a "fashion" statement?)
I am not sure that much can be read into it honestly because young girls are just so "trendy" (to the total dismay of their parents I might add)

I don't think there is anything significant about the necklace or the way Danielle was dressed in any of the photos. When I was 7 my father gave me a turqoise cross that I never took off for years.

The necklace is just a popular necklace that little girls wear. Little girls often have one favorite thing that they wear every day. It doesn't mean anything. She is not into S&M or anything nefarious. She was just a little girl.
And thank goodness she was wearing it, when they found her body that was one of the first things that they reported her wearing.
