No matter. There is not excuse for this kind of incompetance. What next? Folks will be making excuses when the burn down churches and shoot 14-year old kids in the back. Huh I guess you live in a perfect world where accidents or incompetance never happens.
I guess in your world there are no traffic accidents due to driver incompetance and if there was you would say there is no excuse and it is time to get rid of cars.

And if a civilian negligently kills someone in a car accident, the frequent result is a short stay in prison. It will be very interesting to see what sort of hand slapping routine they perform on this agent. I hope he doesn't get promoted like Larry Potts.

An innocent man is shot in the face by a federal agent, and you use the opportunity to implicitly smear anyone tempted to express concern for it as a cop hater. Nice.

Ah yes, the typical hackneyed cliched pablum. Nobody's perfect, everybody makes mistakes, you aren't perfect you have no right to judge blah blah blah. Hell, Bill Clinton couldn't do it better. As usual you want to excuse potential criminal actions of a federal agent and sweep the corruption under the rug. Obviously you not only think police are above the law, but you think they should be excused without investigation. I have to say I don't think much of people that aid, abet, and apologize for criminal behavior. You got a problem with the LAW? You're either for it or against it.

Dane, NO! We live in a world where accidents{?} and/or incompenence{?} is ignored if the perp was a federal officer acting "in good faith" and cannot be held accountable under the LAW of the early 80s "crime bill". OR if a congressional investigation is held, OR an "Independent" Councel is appointed to "investigate", OR the agency in question conducts the investigation into that agency's "misconduct". Nice times we live in. But, I agree that it is not the grunts at fault. It is the LAWmakers and leadership who make "accidents and incompetence" possible, and even EASY for would be JACK BOOTED THUGS!! Peace and love, George.

Geez Dane , I didn't realize your lack of reality extended to ALL phases of life. This happened right down the street from me. From what I have gathered around the neighborhood, the FBI guy on the passengers side just walked right up and fired while the man on the drivers side was telling them to raise their hands - which they were doing.
There is NO excuse for this. However, since you LIKE fascism - it should play right into your hands. Hell, they were teeneagers - they were probably going to smoke dope one day - so it's better just to shoot them now. Save time.

If the FBI is consistent, this agent will get a medal, just like the one who shot Randy Weaver's wife to death for aiming at him with her baby.
Federal Bumbling Imbeciles.

There are many people who would make really great cops, but for the most part, they aren't drawn by the job.
So, you end up with a preponderance of currently on-duty policemen who either couldn't get into the marines, or guys who got picked on in high school, and guys who generally need a gun and a badge just to feel important.
Sadists, mouth-breathers, rapists, criminals, tyrants, and microcephalic social democrats. Just ask Frank Serpico.
