FBI agents searching for an armed bank robber pulled over the wrong car last night on Fort Smallwood Road in Pasadena and shot a man in the face who had no connection to the crime, authorities said.
The 27-year-old victim, whose name was not released, was flown by helicopter to Maryland Shock Trauma Center and is expected to live.
"Anytime anyone gets shot, whether it's the right or wrong person -- we are traumatized by it as well," said FBI spokesman Peter Gulotta. "This is not something that we like to see happen. The circumstances will be thoroughly investigated."

BS! If they were traumatized what the heck do the describe the sate of their innocent victime as being? ...Crucified, grossly tortured -- what?
In south Florida a couple of allegedly drunk off-duty FBI agents were driving in the wrong lane on I-95 and killed two brothers.
The FBI agents simply lied about the accident and even posted an FBI agent at the hospital to keep other law enforcement agencies (FL. Highway Patrol)from investigating.
Eventually the truth was discovered and the FL. Governor and the FL. Highway Patrol apologized to the family of the dead brothers for the mistaken accident report.
Whether the FBI ever apologized for the conduct of their agents in this matter, I don't know.

It sure helps to be able to do your own investigation, to have your own in-house arson investigators and "friendly" coroners on the payroll.
Yeah same thing for the cop in the NY plunger sodomy case. He was in prison for 3 yrs and wasnt even in the same room. So these things can break both ways.
I live in Maryland and since the wussy libs run the legislature and courts......we have lots of criminals, I thank God for the law enforcement officers we have - the thankless job (as proven here) that it is.
So how do you know the guy in the car didn't say the same thing? Be careful there, it's not like the FBI is going to investigate the FBI. Any agency which might hear your grievance would be under the DOJ as well.

Excellent point! Having shot both the M-4 and the P-226 and H&K USP I can attest to the fact that the stock trigger pull of the M-4 (M-16A2) is noticibly shorter and less than either pistol. Imo he should have had it on Safe or had his finger outside of the trigger guard.
I can imagine it would take some training to walk, aim and have one's finger on the trigger with the selector on Semi and not have the gun go off. If he was wearing gloves it would be even more difficult. The only way I can imagine it could be done well would be to have the finger pressed forward on the trigger guard. That's not SOP though.
He shouldn't have had his weapon on Semi or his finger should have been outside the trigger guard. Those are likely the SOP. So he likely F-d up regardless. Walking with his finger on the trigger and the selector on Semi with an M-4/M-16A2 is just reckless. It's gonna go off.
