If they plea bargain this case there damn well should be riots in SD! You have the body, you have the blood, you have the man responsible... there is little doubt provided the police have the evidence they claim that this case will be open and shut in front of a jury... since it is SD and not LA...

If they had no body, I can understand a plea, no body always leaves reasonable doubt... this case sadly has one. I don't see what leverage either party would have to agree to a plea...

OK, this will send stinkypete into orbit, but here goes!!!

They will NOT plea, unless there is other substantial evidence that DW is in fact either:

1.    An Accomplice

2.    Being Framed

3.    In protective custody from the real PERPS!!

If it was, as has been suggested, part of something bigger, the point of a plea is not to let the cat out of the bag. If the statements about swinging are true, and DW knew of the comings and goings at VD's he could have known who other people involved were, I imagine that others wouldn't want those little tid-bits bandied about.

What if this guy David Westerfield lived in Colorado, lets say about 6 yrs ago.
The Ramsy case has never been solved.
I know this is far fetched, but its a thought.
