Could you point me to that interview, it is my recollection that it has been reported that Westerfield stated the father was going out of town not that he was out of town...thanks
Agree about Douglas Pierce. However, still think the parents were negligent. Parents lifestyle only relevant to the extent that it might have contributed to negligence.
About six years ago, we finally had him de-barked. He still barks his head off when he's outside because he loves to bark and would not change his ways over the years no matter what training methods or bark collars we tried. His post-surgery bark volume is now lowered to the point where we can live with it. He's happy because he can express his urge to bark without being scolded or brought inside (when he'd rather be alerting the neighbors that their trees have leaves) and we're happy because the bark we could hear from blocks away is now less piercing.
It is not barbaric surgery, but not all vets like the idea. They fear the dog's personality will suffer "without his bark". Our dog definitely still has his bark, but it is less obnoxious now. Our vet knew the struggles we'd had with our dog and we'd kept him updated on everything we'd tried. He knew the surgery was not a whim on our part or the lazy way out. Our only regret was not having the surgery done years earlier. He's really getting old now, but he still totters out to the back porch and informs the world that he's still on duty to save the world from squirrels.
Good question...in the same way, I'm sure Condit's computer would have been revealing if they hadn't given him lots of time to remove all the evidence from his home.
I just don't know what to think about that.
Thank you for enlightening me--I am always happy to listen to the other side of the story. Glad the world is safe from marauding squirrels and your dog is a happy pet.
I hadn't read anything about this, because frankly there is enough of this crap out there to live with already without having to delve deeper. A good friend of mine lost his 5 year old daughter to a sicko back in 1993. A little girl named Amber Sutton. My buddy who lost his daughter, had gotten a divorce from his wife who had sole custody of their kid. They were just normal people. No weird stuff, just plain people.
It's a sick and twisted world out there, and if you don't pay attention to the real truth, then the truth becomes relative. Relative truth is nothing but what someone else wants it to be. I made a comment on the article posted, and apparently it's true, as nobody has refuted it. Until they do, it looks like it's part of the story. I hadn't made any judgement against these people, because I don't know them, and I have a life outside of Free Republic.
Yes, the choker. The very 1st time I saw that choker on this child, I had an "instinctive" feeling about it being too sexual.
For your information, I have cast no stones, but I am suspicious
of this couple because of all the stories, that have some basis
in fact.
As for what is an Amoral life style....
2Th:KJV 8* And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9* Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10* And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11* And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12* That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
I truely hope that verse 11 and 12 especially do not apply to you.
:)
What's that about?
Let them " shout me down" all they want. My good sense tells me what is appropriate and what is not. Don't let anyone intimidate you and sway you against your good judgement. I certianly will not give in to that, and I would hope you don't either.
