It's both a video card and driver problem. I fried my motherboard in January am using a spare box of hubby's. the problem will be taken care of by the end of the month - I'm getting some type of superduper processor.
what bites is that I had gotten a new monitor for Christmas, and got to enjoy it for about 2 weeks when the board went. I might as well be using an old VGA!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't mean to do it - it was an accident!!!!
I had thought earlier about getting post #3000 - but with running around I forgot about it!!!!
My kitchen is clean, steaks are marinating, and the little one is asleep, so I can FReep guilt free for a while - or at least til hubby gets home.

That's good, at least you know it'll be better soon.
I built my mother a system this past year to get her on the internet. I was so happy about it until her printer ran out of ink. She didn't know how to change the ink cartridges. She tried for awhile, got mad and slammed them into the printer breaking it. I couldn't believe it! I hope her graphics don't get fuzzy. I'd hate to see what would happen to her monitor! (-;
