That's good, at least you know it'll be better soon.
I built my mother a system this past year to get her on the internet. I was so happy about it until her printer ran out of ink. She didn't know how to change the ink cartridges. She tried for awhile, got mad and slammed them into the printer breaking it. I couldn't believe it! I hope her graphics don't get fuzzy. I'd hate to see what would happen to her monitor! (-;

Motherboards do occasionally wear-out (I didn't know that until mine did it to me!!!)
OTOH, I rarely turn mine off, so there is a lot of wear and tear on it.
