I’m tired of these atheists’ knocking on my door holding the Book of Darwin

group of facts or phenomena, especially one...that is widely accepted.Ohh, That's good. Follow the masses?
To: Heartlander
The point is the elimination of God When did that happen? I studied both science and philosophy, I still have God.

Where would "Intelligent design theories" fit? Science, philosophy, in between or somewhere else alltogeather?Science of course, where it belongs.
Within twenty years "Intelligent design theories" will be taught along side of "evolutionary theories" as a matter of a complete education
I know you have a problem seeing it as science because of your bias, but evolution went though the same process. What did it take, almost sixty years.?

Ohh, That's good. Follow the masses? No, you are missing the point. The point is "theory" does not mean unproven. Even an accepted explanation is still a theory.

ROLFMAO!!! Got that right!! oh please bring them into this, OH PLEASE!!! It will get REAL FUN!! It's actually a tad late tonite for most of them, I suspect, but they'll probably give this thread a look-see in the AM. The real shame of it is that these are the same arguments that have been dealt with dozens of times on earlier threads. The posters change; but the arguments remain constant.

The definition I found was defined by man who defined yours why was your definition better?
To: JZoback
Well, if there are facts to back up "Intelligent" design, then I will be interested in seeing them, but until it is widely accepted by the scientific community, it belongs in philosophy, just as creationism does.

The definition I found was defined by man who defined yours why was your definition better? What are you talking about? It's a word, of course it's defined by man!
You didn't understand what the word means. A "theory" can be true and still be a theory. You tried to use the word "theory" as an argument, and it was wrong. Face it and move on.

Science of course, where it belongs. Cool, what kind of experiments are being conducted? What new discoveries are on the horizon? What engineering applications do you for see?

You confuse me with someone else. I know nothing of "Intelligent design theories".

And 849,000 sites for the Theory of evolution, and your point is?

I could ask the same questions for evolution. Evolution is a theory based on biology, chemistry, geology. They are based on physics and math. I believe that lots of medicine and virology is based on theorys of evolution. Animal husbandry, nutrition, etc.
To: Aric2000
And 849,000 sites for the Theory of evolution, and your point is? The relevant question is to ask for a simple dozen articles on ID written in mainstream refereed science Journals. No one has ever met that challenge, for the simple reason that ID isn't yet to the stage where it meets the criteria for being a scientific theory.
To: Goldhammer
Darwinism and Evolution are related, but only as a tadpole is related to a frog. Darwinism and Evolution are so far apart at this point to call them the same theory is a bold faced lie.
Sorry, TRY AGAIN!!
