I’m tired of these atheists’ knocking on my door holding the Book of Darwin

The THEORY of evolution. Hey, Nice THEORY! No, really – a beautiful story about how man might have been created. The Darwin bible though has been interpreted by many to ‘soot’ their own beliefs. They preach this stuff as it were fact and leave out the most important word of any THEORY - the word ‘IF’.

I mean you never hear them say, “IF’ the Evolution of life on earth proceeded in two stages: chemical and biological. Life on earth must have developed from inorganic materials- what else was there for it to come from? The first stage in the development of life, therefore, was the production of a reproducing cell from materials at hand on the early earth. This process is called chemical evolution.... Once a living, reproducing system was present, the process of natural selection took over to produce the wide variety of life that exists today. This from the gospel of evolution.

They state this mumbo jumbo as if it were fact. They always leave out ‘IF’. I mean, it’s a darn THEORY isn’t it? Heck, they even ridicule those who believe otherwise. They hide behind this so called faith in Darwin. Although Darwin was just a prophet of ‘their’ science.

Hey, don’t get me wrong, I appreciate science. I even think that evolution is an interesting THEORY – but why should we preach about Darwin in our schools. I mean evolution is thoroughly compatible with religion-when the object of worship is evolution; and we must keep a separation between religion and state. It doesn’t say that in the Constitution, but hey, it sounds like a darn good idea!

Don’t get me wrong, some evolutionists are starting to understand Intelligent Design. But there is still a majority that thinks evolution has somehow disproved the existence of God. Wow, even their prophets Darwin and Nietzsche understood the dangers that posed.

I am an American and believe that everyone should worship as they chose, but keep your Darwin propaganda out of my child’s school and my country’s laws. It's like some kind of ACLU / 700 club.

What we have is contemporaneous biological evidence, and layers and layers of fossil evidence. None of which agrees with the silly MYTHICAL stories in the Bible.

Silly? What is more silly than to believe something came from absolutely nothing? The materials that chemically evolved to create the first living creature with a reproductive system, where did these come from?

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. I don't know any who suggest that faith is anything more than faith. According to that faith, we believe that God created all that was, is, and will ever be. But where do those who believe in evolution get off passing along their theory as empirical fact?

Once you believe that a theory is the truth, the game is over. You can either prove it, or you can't.

Lastly, with the amount of dogma that evolutionists spew, evolution really does qualify as a religion. If it weren't none would be so passionate about honoring a theory as fact. The circular reasoning evolutionists use is powerful enough to create the centrifugal force needed with which to uphold the theory. God is 'A' and evolution is 'B.' 'B' is not totally confident in itself, but 'B' is confident enough to state that the existence of 'A' is not real. Post hoc ergo propter hoc anyone? The theory is this, therefore because of this God doesn't exist.

Round and around and around and around. . .

Evolution can't even pass a simple logic test.

Where did God come from?

Fossils exist. Does God? Where's your proof? I can show you fossils. I have several 350 million year old fossils sitting on my table downstairs.

There is no "if" about the fossil record. And there is no credible explanation in the Bible for the fossil record either -- because the goat herders who wrote the Bible weren't aware of the fossil record and therefore left yet another gapping whole in their collected "knowledge." (Right after the parts saying slavery is okay, and that we are commanded to kill homosexuals. And that we shouldn't wear clothes of mix fabrics. Boy those guys sure were smart!)

You obviously belong to the ACLU. You treatment of faith demonstrates that you have what it takes to be a card carrying member of that group. How does it feel to know that you share such company?

Be gone.

Objection! Asked and answered.

Didn't I just tell you what faith was? Faith is faith, and that's that.

You say you have 350 million year whatever. Okay, fine. But that does not prove the theory of evolution.

You can show me fossils. Great! Now reverse engineer this to the point where the materials needed to make this chemical evolution commence came from.

Shessh, the arrogance of those who call themselves evolutionist is appalling

The evolutionary record is hardly conclusive. Every other week another "fossil record" is found that changes the whole evolutionary time table, which in it self has huge holes. Frauds and scams have been exposed for decades and STILL are taught by some educators. The only thing the fossil record actually proves without a doubt is that life existed before man recorded history.

The thing that just galls me to no end is the fact that creationism and evolution are both impossible to prove as fact, yet when presented with scientific data for intelligent design models, we are treated as mental midgets, religious fools, stupid ignoramus that can not comprehend the great and mighty weight of evolution, for when examined for what it really is, It is still just a THEORY, and in some peoples mind, some a lot better one than mine, a theory full of a lot of unanswerable questions.

Concerning the Bible and it'd silly MYTHICAL stories. Well many of those "stories" have in fact been proven archeological to be true. The Bible said it happened this way and the archeological record confirms it. Now that is not the whole Bible, but the Bible has a lot better record than evolution when it comes to actually having the facts provable and correct.

End Rant

Do you believe the absence of God in schools was the intent by our Founding Fathers?

Occasionally we get Mormons or Jehovah's Witnesses at the door in my neighborhood. Doesn't bother me if they don't come too early in the morning. One time my mainstream church decided it was high time we went door-to-door. It was kind of fun to do it and actually produced a variety of reactions, none altogether hostile. It did not, however, generate one single inquiry or one new attendee. Why some religions think the door-to-door route is the way to go, and others never proselytize that way (although they probably do in other ways)is a question for which I have no ready answer.

Geez, Faith vs Science, Bible vs Theory, hmm, gotta think about that, NOT, Science and Theory win out EVERY time.

These creationist threads are such a scream, the dude that was on Art Bell the last 2 nights was a scream too. What a bunch of nuts. Trying to prove creationism is true, there is no proof, only faith. Evolution has facts that back up the theory, making it the MOST likely explanation of how we got here. The fossil records etc, FACTS, vs some book that is supposed to be taken on faith.

You guys are a scream, an absolute scream, I laugh every time I see you post, especially F. Christian, because all he does is attack, no real back up for what he says, just an attack to descredit whomever disagrees with him. ROFLMAO!!!

Evolution has facts that back up the theory

Good, at least you were smart enough to use the word theory…There might be hope!

Scientific theorys belong in science class, religion belongs in philosophy class. Whats wrong with that?

And you may continue to laugh to your heart's desire. Doesn't matter to me one bit.

You theory still isn't proof. I don't care about "suggestions." We either evolved or we didn't. According to our faith, we know how we got here. According to your faith, er, I mean theory, are you 100% sure that you are right?

Put up or shut up. It's as simple as that.
